We are looking for to a return visit to the London Santa Run 2014, Battersea Park, from 209 Events. on Saturday 6th December 2014.
With 2,000 ‘santas’ taking part, it’s quite a site in the middle of London, starting at 10am.
Of course the real Santa is busy in Lapland at this very time, hard at work preparing for Christmas.
The Santa Run is organised to raise funds for Disability Snowsport UK, a national charity helping people with disabilities to access the thrill of snowsports.
Children and adults with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, visual impairment and autism can access programmes across the UK to enable them to make friends, improve their confidence and have fun through a sport which they would otherwise be excluded from.
If every person who runs the Santa Run raised £25, the charity will receive over £50,000 in funding, allowing them to make a significant difference in the lives of people with disabilities. This year we are offering a prize to the highest fundraiser and goody bags for those who raise over £250 each.
