kaputino-packaging-environental-policyWe are proud to say all of our packging, cups and utensils for our customers are biodegradable, compostable and/or recyclable.

We use high quality eco paper hot cups are lined internally with Ingeo PLA film (corn starch bio-plastic) and this makes the cups 100% biodegradable. They are also certified as compostable to both American (D6400) and European (Din Certco: EN13432) standards and approved for composting by the national organisation Save-A-Cup.

Lined with plant-based PLA, not plastic, our hot cups are completely compostable. Choose from 4oz espresso cups up to a whopping 20oz.

Our ‘plastic’ cups for our ice coffees are made of plant starch bio-plastic, but whilst you won’t know the difference our environment will.

We use paper bags and those with a window us PLA film (corn starch bio-plastic)

Our napkins: 100% Recycled, Biodegradable & Compostable paper napkins.

Our cutlery is  disposable wooden cutlery, including knives, forks, spoons and sporks, along with our stirrers.

We are looking to introduce recycled compostable RCPLA/CPLA cutlery or corn starch cutlery as an alternative to those customers who don’t like wooden cutlery.

For our Isle of Wight buffets and sandwich round or catering at events we use crystal clear salad containers are all produced from post consumer recycled PET, available in 250ml to 1000ml capacity for our salads, pasta and rice dishes.

We are always searching for new products to introduce that meet our customers requirements and our desire for ever more environmentally sensitive packaging.
